4th quarter!!

I am extremely excited for fourth quarter! But also I'm scared of not passing my classes to graduate. I will try my best this last quarter to turn in all homework and also to be in class everyday.
I want to leave MA with good grades and leave with positive people surrounding me.
3rd quarter I didn't do so good in my classes. I need to step up my game and push through. Also I want to be able to have my academy graduation so I need to put up my grade for animation.

"Sure, I'd make that bet"

Questions:
  1. Why did these banks pay such large bonuses in 2008?
  2. What grade would you give the decision to award these bonuses?
  3. Finally, how might the prospect of such large bonuses affect the behavior of employees? In theory, people have an incentive to perform well if they make more money when their contribution to their bank’s profits is greater. But what happens to the employees when the bank loses money or collapses? If the banks still pay bonuses, and employees know losses will be borne by investors and taxpayers, will they take on too much risk?

It’s Utterly Mad

The CDO might have done this so that they can make a little extra money on the side.

They assumed that the correlation was low.

It was "mad" because a lot of investors and banks didn't know what was happening.

St. Patricks

Saint Patrick is the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland. St Patrick is credited with bringing christianity to Ireland.

In American cities with a large Irish population, St. Patrick’s Day is a very big deal. Big cities and small towns alike celebrate with parades, “wearing of the green,” music and songs, Irish food and drink, and activities for kids such as crafts, coloring and games.

Some communities even go so far as to dye rivers or streams green!

Being a religious holiday as well, many Irish attend mass, where March 17th is the traditional day for offering prayers for missionaries worldwide before the serious celebrating begins.

Fridayyyy

A loan is when someone asks to borrow money to purchase something.
My parents got a loan from the bank to buy a house. I believe they had to leave a down payment to make sure they start paying it off. The bank would probably check credit history because it makes them know who will pay them back and who won't.

Creditworthiness

Creditworthiness is a record of your debt and repayment. To see how good you are at paying bills. I. Guess this just helps financial institutions keep track of payment records and stuff.

Stock market

The most expensive stock market that I found was the Berkshire Hathaway. It is a property and casualty insurance. The price is at 121,049.
World events affect stock prices.

Market Cap: $199.77 billion
